OFCCP Offers Section 503 and VEVRA Guidance

On February 21, 2014, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (“OFCCP”) posted new information and resources on its Web site to assist federal contractors with outreach and recruitment targeting individuals with disabilities, employing and retaining individuals with disabilities, promoting self-disclosure as a person with a disability, assistive technologies that help change corporate culture, and reasonable accommodation. DoL Releases 2012 FMLA Survey Results on the Act’s 20th Anniversary

In 2012, Abt Associates surveyed 1,812 worksites and 2,852 employees about experiences with family and medical leave.  The worksite survey includes both sites that are covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and those that are not covered.  The employee survey includes employees that took leave,
